Philip is Co-chair of the ISEP, and has been a steering group committee member for 3 years.

Philip developed his passion for sustainability and environmental conservation throughout his higher education, and is enthusiastic about low energy environmental design in buildings. Working for one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary design practices, he has contributed positively to a wide range of projects including schools, higher education buildings, offices, healthcare, multi-residential accommodation, retail and bespoke multifunction buildings, achieving a broad local and international knowledge of environmental design principles and performance standards.

Philip has extensive experience with environmental policy and standards and has been managing BDP’s environmental and energy management system (certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001) for the last three years. He is well versed in environmental assessment, such as BREEAM, LEED and Ska and has achieved industry-leading assessment results for a number of developments. Philip is also leading BDP’s post-occupancy evaluation (POE) activities to ensure the buildings we’re designing are performing as we’d hoped they would.

Philip Chairs the ISEP Steering Committee together with Tim Attwood.
